Enjoy the water, luxury and gastronomy in Istria

It is the location of Papafigo, the new (2021) little campsite of the Buršić family. Here, you can enjoy a real glamping holiday. You will find fully equipped luxury glamping tents and modern mobile homes. If you want ultimate luxury, book the luxury holiday villa for eight persons. Perfect for a large family or it could be fun with two families. Camping Papafigo is in a wonderful location in an olive grove and has a large restaurant with a lovely roof terrace, a wellness centre and an outdoor pool. In short, everything you need for a relaxed holiday!

To the beach

Here, you are only five kilometres from the beautiful beach of Peroj, a small village in South Istria. The clear blue sea will undoubtedly get you in the holiday mood. Pack your sandals, towel and suntan lotion and you are ready for a day at the beach! At the campsite too, you are never far away from fun in the water. You can take a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool. There is also a shallow section specially for children. The terrace with sun loungers and parasols is the place to dry off and enjoy the hot Croatian sun.
The absolute eye-catcher at Camping Papafigo is the wellness centre. With a sauna, steam bath, hot tub and massage room, you will be pampered to the full. You can use the wellness amenities for an additional fee but it is more than worth it.

Taste the Mediterranean cuisine

The campsite restaurant has a lovely ambience. You can find the restaurant in the main building at the campsite. With two terraces you are almost always ensured a spot in the outdoor air. You look out over the swimming pool from the terrace on the ground floor. The other is on the roof of the building, next to the bar. Here you can order a drink and enjoy the green olive trees on the campsite and the sea in the distance. Wow, what a view!
The Mediterranean meals are prepared with fresh, local products. Owner Mladen Buršić gets them from the market every day for his guests. After which, he and his chef conjure up delicious meals. You can also go to the restaurant for a lovely breakfast.

Sail with a captain: a unique experience

Camping Papafigo offers their guests various one-day boat trips. You can discover the best spots on and around the water under the guidance of an experienced captain. You may even get a chance to steer the boat yourself. A boat trip is a unique opportunity to explore the stunning coastline of Istria. Your children will not believe their eyes. While you are there, throw out a line or go for a swim in the water. And sail to the hidden bays and idyllic islands. Watching the sunset from the deck is a magical experience that you don't want to miss. Ask at reception about all the options.
