Relaxed holidays by a river
Camping Prima is a peaceful, green campsite in the south of the Czech Republic. The trees and bushes make it easy for children to play hide and seek. There are also playgrounds and football pitches. In the river next to the campsite young and old can swim, canoe and fish.
This campsite is located in the south of the Czech Republic, about ten hours' drive from Utrecht. You are in the South Bohemia region, known for its beautiful countryside and charming towns. Many of them are situated on the river Moldau. Camping Prima is situated on one of its branches.
River full of fun
Fishing, canoeing, swimming, paddling; what can not be done? The Lužnice river is a source of fun for the whole family. But you can also go fishing on land. Get a fishing licence from the campsite reception and throw out your fishing rod. It is full of fish! And a walk along the waterfront is also wonderfully relaxing. Do you miss a swimming pool? The town of Týn nad Vltavou is about five minutes from the campsite and has a public swimming pool with many slides.
Games in the countryside
There is plenty to do on the green camping grounds. Children have countless places to play a challenging game of hide and seek. There is also enough space for a game of football. The playgrounds are on grass and the table tennis table is also outside. The campsite also has a restaurant (with a terrace) and a shop. Týn nad Vltavou is the place to be for a larger selection of restaurants and supermarkets.
Camping Prima rents out nice accommodation, including new safari tents (2019) with private sanitary facilities. The terrace with furniture gives you a nice seating area in the open air as well. The tents are suitable for six people. There are also mobile homes and you can book a villa, ideal if you are really with a large group.
A look inside the castle
Less than five minutes' walk from Camping Prima is a sixteenth-century castle: Zámek Mitrowicz. This can be visited in the summer months. You can take a look inside, but are also welcome in the gardens. The entrance fee includes a guided tour. There are regular knight and bird shows for children. And the outdoor bistro offers tasty snacks and drinks.
